I purchased the theme and installed Portfolio. I was expecting to install it and then it would be like i just replace the template text with my text, etc... but when i installed it, it's completely blank and even after watching video's i can't get it to look the same way or operate the same way as the sample. what am i missing? here's the one i thought i installed... https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/resume/#portfolio

Well, i fixed the issue of not seeing what i wanted to see.. by doing a database reset... but eventhough i removed the 3 options you said to remove, i LOST EVERYTHING. all my content is deleted. gone. years of work. gone. wtf... i followed the instructions and lost everything.
  • Hello,
the instructions regarding the database reset clearly state that all of your content willl be removed. You should not have had used it if you did not want to wipe your content clean. You should also always make a backup copy. Contact your hosting provider, he should have a backup of your page stored.

Could you tell us where did you find the information about reseting the database?
    thanks
  • Yes it was on your video.
  • I don't appreciate you removing my forum posts and sending me blank emails with a link to get a refund. I paid for support...
  • the video....
  • Nothing in this video "CLEARLY STATES THAT THE CONTENT WILL BE REMOVED" as you said above...
  • Hello,
we remove all posts that are duplicated. It contained the same copied content.
You can see that we have sent you an email with a link to a form that is required to be filled in order to get a refund. The refund is processed by envato.
We did not send you a blank email if it contained the link. Here is a screen: https://prnt.sc/m4dtvj

The plugin name is database reset, and all of the content is held in the database. It is natural that it will remove it. Pre-built websites are not meant to be installed on existing content. So we offer the database reset plugin to restore your wordpress to its default state. It says it right here: http://prntscr.com/m4dumb

We only tell users to disable the theme options table and users so they do not need to create new users and register the theme after each reset.

If you desire to have a refund and not use BeTheme then please fill out the form provided in the email.

    thank you
