Primary Menu Resonsiveness issue

Hello - I have an issue with the primary menu. In the backend, there is an option to activate the mobile menu breakpoint but that is restricted to 1240. What I need is, to increase that number to 1400. Please check this link - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1di_Jy8hjEvUuZrhVbnpEjNh0F5UBfI89?usp=sharing
Please tell me the solution to increase this number to 1400. Removing few elements from the menu is not an option. Live website can be accessed through https://focusu.com

  • Hi,
Unfortunately, this cannot be changed with BeTheme options.
You would have to edit theme files, but we do not support such changes.
    Cheers
  • Hello Pablo - thanks for the quick response but may I know the reason why it is restricted to 1270px? I am already using child theme. Is it something which can be easlity implemented through child theme?

    Thanks
  • That's how it was created, we assume that width is maximal value where the menu for mobile devices should appear.

It require a lot of changes, but we suggest to take a look at the responsive.css file first.
    Thanks
  • I get that but what's the logic behind the limitation upto 1270px? Why not 1500px?
  • A lot of customers could not know what this function, and we wanted to make it as easy as it's possible.
Also, a lot of portable devices does not cross this value, so this limitation is significant for mobile devices.
    Thanks
  • Thanks for the reply. I think you should also mention that this is the maximum number of elements which we recommend in the menu. Because website owner wouldn't know this issue unless they are using small device or small screen laptop. Either way i will find a solution and will keep you posted
  • Yes, this is one of the reasons too.
If you have some other questions, feel free to ask.
    Thanks
