header updates and nav bar

Hi, I have a few questions:

Here is my current website: http://ngg.keyurmaru.com

1. I'd like to move the logo and nav bar closer to the edge of the screen, just like this website: https://www.effekt.dk where can I adjust the padding for that?
2. Is it possible to add the social icons next to the nav bar similar to the example site in 1?
3. I'd like to have a secondary menu similar to this page: https://www.effekt.dk/work is that possible? If so, is it possible to also go one level deeper.

  • For #2 here's the screen shot of the social media icons, its not in the example site:

    A couple more things:
    4. Is it possible to change the color of the logo and menu on all the other pages aside from the hompage. Heres the sample I'd like to change it to:

    5. Is it possible to change the thumbnail on the portfolio page on rollover. You can see the one example I have here: http://ngg.keyurmaru.com/services/ The thumbnail is black and white, on roll over I'd like to to change to the same picture in color. I have the 2nd image - could I set this up somehow?

  • Hi,
    1) The padding of that logo nad nav bar can be customized in the Theme Options > Global > Logo
If that field is blank, then please insert the 0 number, because default value of that field is 15.

    2) Unfortunately, it's not possible.
BeTheme allows to display social icons only in the Action Bar (above the header).
To enable it, please go to the Theme Options > Menu & Action Bar > Action Bar

    3) We do not have such functionality.
All I can suggest is to add this 'secondary' menu in the Muffin Builder in the first section.

    4) The only way, is changing the 'Layout' of your page to other.
To create it, you have to go to WP Dashboard > Layouts

To attach it on the page, you have to edit the page and select it in the "Layout" select box.

    5) Unfortunately, with the blog featured image is not possible.
Only the HoverBox item allows to do it

    Thanks
  • Thanks for the help!
  • For #5 I found this article. https://ethercycle.com/blog/305

Would the code mentioned on that page work with some tweaking.
  • I'm not sure if this going to work because in a lot of the items, the filter tag is already used and even if you overwrite them, they still can have other tags attached which can corrupt the proper way of displaying that effect.

But, if you want to try, do it - remember, all CSS codes should be pasted in the Theme Options > Custom CSS & JS > CSS
    Thanks
