exclude posts from child category in Muffin Builder

Hi,
I need to exclude posts from child category in Muffin Builder.
I would like to display only parent category posts. There is no option in builder. Where should I search this feauture in code?

Hi,
You can display only the main category posts, not the child categories from primary categories using the "Category" dropdown menu.
That means, it will display all of the posts from that category, including child categories.

No. It dosn't work like U said.
I added Blog element in Muffin Builder. Then I selected category. This Blog element display post from category I chose AND child category of category I chose.

Sorry, my response could be misleading - I've updated it.
I through, that you cannot select the "Child" category in the "Category" dropdown menu.
If you want to display only the one or only certain child categories, you have to provide their slugs in the "Multiple Categories" field.

To display the main category posts only, I suggest to create the child category for this kind of posts.
