Portfolios and Breadcrumbs

Hi there!

I have a question regarding portfolios & breadcrumbs. I have two portfolio categories in my website, and two pages where I display them. This is one of the pages: https://www.solarpowerpanels.net.au/solar-inverter-brands/

When I click on a portfolio-item, for example: "SMA Inverters" it takes me to the portfolio-item page as it should: https://www.solarpowerpanels.net.au/portfolio-item/sma-inverters/

SO far so good, but if I want to click on the breadcrumbs above to go back to the page that I came from it is impossible. Clicking on the 'solar Inverter Brands' breadcrumbs taking me to the portfolio-type page where I don't want my customers to go: https://www.solarpowerpanels.net.au/portfolio-types/solar-inverter-brands/

What the way to go about it? how can I get the breadcrumbs to take me back to the original page?
