Hide 'sub header and title' on specific page

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Minion Pro'}

I want subheader and title showing on every page, except homepage. How can this be done?

In Theme Options; Header & subheader; subheader: under ‘hide’ the boxes about ‘Page title’ and  ‘Subheader’ are unchecked. Subheader and page titel are showing on every page. But when I want to overrule this for the homepage, by switching ‘Subheader | Hide’ (on page level) to ‘on’, this does not hold when saving the page.

  • Hi,
Just edit the page you want to remove the subheader and scroll down.
You'll find the option named "Subheader | Hide"

    Thanks

  • Thank you.
I did that. But the changes do not hold when saving the page.
  • Hi,

Please provide us with your hosting environment settings, to do that please follow these steps:
    1) Go to the Wordpress > Tools > Site Health http://prntscr.com/nlyb22
    2) Click at the “Info” on the top of the page and open the “Server” tab http://prntscr.com/nlybm2
    3) Take a screenshot of the content inside that ‘Server’ tab http://prntscr.com/nlybyr
Please make sure you are using Wordpress 5.2 or later, previous versions did not have this option built in.

Please use snag.gy or pasteboard.co to host the screenshot and send us the link to it.

    Thanks
  • Please ask your hosting provider about increasing your PHP_Max_Input_Vars to the 5000 value.
After that, everything will be working fine.
    Thanks
  • Hello Pablo, I asked my hosting provider, but the website is on shared hosting server and they don't allow me to increase the PHP max input vars to 5000, afraid it might use to much resources...
    Are there other options?
  • Unfortunately not.
The 5000 value is not a lot of resources but it's necessary to make the BeTheme work fine.
Even with other themes 1000 value is not enough.

    Thanks
  • Hello Pablo,
We use other themes as well. Never had this problem before.

    Thanks.
  • Yes, it could not happen, but while using bigger themes (as BeTheme) where you have tons of possible customizations this option is really important.

The PHP Max Input Vars value is amount of maximal vars which can be uploaded to the database at once, so when you hit the "Update" button then all of the content and settings of that page has to be updated in the database and in that case 1000 input vars is way too low.

All of the hostings does not have problem with increasing that value and it's always getting fixed after changing that amount of max input vars.
If your hosting provider does not want to change that, all that we can suggest is changing the hosting to other.
Our hands are tied in that case, it's not a theme problem.

    Thanks
