WP Bakery Page Builder - Role Manager
When we create a user with the Editor role, he can only see, when accessing the pages option panel, even the site administrator, setting in WP BAKERY PAGE BUILDER / Role Manager, in Post Types / Custom Structuring / leaving ticked the Posts option.
What should we do to make the Posts option appear?

  • Hello,
You should take a look at tthis topic, it will explain you everything.

    Thanks
  • I went to WPBakery Page Builder / About, see what appears:

Welcome to WPBakery Page Builder 5.7
Congratulations! You are about to use most powerful time saver for WordPress ever - page builder plugin with Frontend and Backend editors by WPBakery.

The link you recommended says that from version 4.8, you can already configure users to choose what to edit.
We are working with version 5.7, so that's not the point. Also, we have the Editor user configuration options to choose Posts, Pages, Portfolio and Template. But even leaving the Post option chosen when the user logs in as an Editor, only the Pages option appears in the panel.
  • The latest version of WPBakery for BeTheme is 6.0.2 - so please, update it first.
There is a "Role Manager" on the latest version - in "WPBakery Page Builder" tab

But you can choose only these three settings:
http://prntscr.com/ovjtdi - there is no option to extend it(for portfolio, etc. - these are BeTheme features, not WPBakery), you would have to edit plugin's files which we do not support.
And this option is only for enabling the WPBakery for these rules, all other permisions are below.

What do you mean by "What should we do to make the Posts option appear?"
    Thanks
  • When we buy the Betheme theme, WPBakery Page Builder is built in, we can't upgrade because we have to buy it too, in order to upgrade.
So from what we understand, in order for BeTheme to work properly with this partner plugin, we have to spend not only $ 59, but also + $ 45. So, it's a theme that comes out for $ 104.

    It’s expensive!

We will certainly no longer buy this theme for new customers and any other theme that has built in WPBakery.

    See the screen:

  • Of course you can update your WPBakery - just go to the BeTheme > Install Plugins (http://prntscr.com/ovlpyi)

There you can download the latest version which is compatible with our theme straight from our API.
You don't have to buy separate license key from WPBakery.

All bundled plugins are included with extended licenses and users can
use these plugins within the theme without needing to purchase them
    separately.
This is standard and according to ThemeForest rules.
More information about the bundled plugins, you will find here.

About the "Posts" screenshot you attached - it's not a WPBakery fault or theme problem, it's just basic Wordpress functionality.
These "Role Manager" options are only for displaying the page builder, not the whole functionality of wordpress. (http://prntscr.com/ovlr85)

So, if you want to make "Posts" visible for other roles, you have to edit Wordpress files (Documentation here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/) or use some kind of plugin which make you modify user's roles - there is a lot of them on Wordpress plugin's market, but we do not support them, so we cannot help you with that.

I hope it's clear now - if you have some questions, feel free to ask.
    Thanks
https://wordpress.org/plugins/capability-manager-enhanced/ e resolveu o problema.

  • Sorry, but we do not understand.
Can you translate that message to the English language?
