the highlighted image is not displayed in the single article. Eg. https://www.knetproject.com/turnaround_management/

How can I solve it?

Good morning,

there should be an image across the top of the page for each article or case history for example:

https://www.knetproject.com/en/the-role-of-confidentiality-in-ma-operations/

https://www.knetproject.com/en/how-to-negotiate-concessions-to-ensure-a-better-ma-deal/

The featured image is working for the thumbnails but when we click and enter the article pages, there is no image on the top banner.

So, the problem is related to your theme customizations.

I changed the theme to the Parent Theme and everything works fine.

You have to find, where did you made a mistake in your customizations and fix that - unfortunately, we do not provide help with the theme files modifcations.

The changes only concern the CSS part of the Child Theme. And no single post template file was overwritten.

The Child Theme is what you provide.

How can it not work?

Child Theme does not includee any changes, it's just a theme for changes in files which customer makes and he does not want to lose them while updating the theme.

If changing the theme to parent resolve the problem - it must mean, that issue is on the child theme and customization that customer made.

In updating the theme he had lost the link to the images of the Subheader in the settings of the single post.
