Theme update - Layerslider update problem

Hi,

I've updated Wordpress to version 5.3 and updated to BeTheme 21.4.5"

There is an update showing for LayerSlider 6.9.4 (I have 6.8.1 installed) in Wordpress Updates.

I select it to update but says "An error ocurred while updating LayserSlider WP: Update package not available".

I also had this problem with WPBakery and I read that you should update plugins through the BeTheme "Install Plugins" menu. I did this for WPBakery and it worked. However when I do this for LayerSlider within the same area it does not work. It says "update package not available".

I also noticed that if I clicked the "update theme" button under the BeTheme dashboard it did not update. However when i updated the theme through the Wordpress Updates section it did update the theme.

So the only thing I have not been able to update is the LayserSlider. Could you please tell me how to update it to v6.9.4.

Hi,

We have the same issue and are getting the 'Update package not available' error message when trying to update the LayerSlider plugin via the BeTheme > Install Plugins screen.

We have the latest Wordpress (5.3) and BeTheme (21.4.7) installed and working in production with license activated. Everything else works fine, except for the LayerSlider update.

Please post a support email if you want me to send any screenshots.

Did you try to update the plugin while all of the plugins are disabled?

Also, is your PHP 7 or higher?

Hi,

Yes we tried updating with all other plugins disabled. Same error message. The server is running PHP 7.2.24.

I'm afraid I'm not allowed to give you access to our customer's production server. Is there any other way I can help you debug the issue?

Further help through the forum is a waste of time because this issue is unusual right now.

The best way will be by testing it by myself.

Also, you can ask your hosting provider about the server logs, maybe he'll be able to enlight the problem.
