Image Gallery - image holders blank

edited December 2019 in Theme support
Hi,
I have two similar sites; https://sukicbdmassage.com.au and https://yukisydneymassage.com.au, and both have lost the functionality of the Image Gallery that should come up when selecting the page for any of the masseuses. This is after having worked fine for several months.

I have disabled all the plugins on the Suki site to no avail.
The licencing is presumably fine as the updates proceed without issue, and I have the latest issue in place.

Any ideas?

  • Hello,
It looks like some plugin (I think it's a jetpack plugin) changed the image url.
    See the screen:

As I see, you disabled the plugins, but can you try it once more, but this time clear the cache of your browser after it.

Also, tell me, if you create another page (with all of the plugins disabled) with Image Gallery item, does it work fine?
    Thanks
  • I've disabled Jetpack and JCH Optimise, cleared the cache in the latter and also on my browser.
Have checked it on my laptop and also phone, and the images remain stubbornly invisible.

    I
have created a new page: https://sukicbdmassage.com.au/test and same
result with the image gallery, but individual 'images' do show.

    What do we do next?

I've now disabled all plugins again and problem persists.

I've noted that I have some pages with Image object, some with Image Gallery. It's the Image Gallery that is not working.

I found that the images that HAD been in the Image Gallery where no longer there, but after adding them, they still did not appear. When however I add the same image in an Iimage Object, it is ok. Refer to page Tina for example.

Note that there is a stuff-up between the page names and the girl image names. I'll fix that later.

    Cheers

  • Something is cutting out the links.

Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact

    might be the reason.

  • OOps, I didn't include the link. Have done that now.

  • So, after investigation we know, that the problem is not on the wordpress or betheme side.
You should contact your hosting provider and ask him about the logs and investigate the problem, because even on default (twentytwenty) theme images which are uploaded are getting lost (they are not uploaded properly).

We think, that server configuration is not correct.
    Thanks
  • OK, thankyou.
