  • According to my research, this issue was coused by a problem with the plugin zip file.

Could you send the plugins  so I can manually upload it?
  • i am getting a 500 server error when I updated revslider today
  • Hello I have the same problem updating the plugin.

The problem is that it does not work with an old revslider version.

I need to download version 5.4.6.2.

    Thank you
  • Hello,
if you cannot update the plugin, please first disable it and then update.

For people who have the PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) error:

There might be few different reasons, why you get this error and this has nothing to with the BeTheme itself. Below, we list some most probable causes:

    - your server might not support uploading different files than a .zip format
    - there is not enough space on the disc of your server
    - there is not enough memory on the server side, and only your admin/hosting provider will be able to check this in logs

In both cases, you need to contact your admin/hosting provider. Just in case, we include few links below that may help you as well:

  • Helo Mufin,

-What is the format of the plugins, so I can prepare my server to recieve them?

-Is there any way I can download the plugins directly? To manually enter them in the wp-content/plugins

  • All plugins have the same format (.zip), you can unzip them and upload them manually to the plugins folder.
  • I am having issues with the team and the pre loaded plugins.

I am getting the following when trying to update the theme and install the required plugins: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Any suggestions as ive tried reinstalling everything and discussed this with my host and everything is pointing back to the files.

  • Can you disable all of the plugins and check, if you can install them?
    Thanks
  • Once everything is deactivated i still get all the errors.

An error occurred while installing BeTheme Header Builder: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature.
  • This issue is related to the hosting provider, our hands are tied in that case.
If you disabled all of the plugins, it should pass without any issue - we tested it on our live developer pages and it works very well.

We strongly suggest to discuss it with your hosting provider, he is the only one who can solve that problem.
    Thanks

  • Unfortunatley this is not the case as there are no issue son the server.

"Thanks for getting back to us, when checked the server it has no restrictions on uploading files in formats other than .zip.

In previous be theme versions, the plugins were included to install but i cant seem to find them to try and upload manually so can you send them as the issue is due to them not being able to be installed as i can install other plugins.

    Thanks, Nick
  • Please provide us with your hosting environment settings, to do that please follow these steps:
    1) Go to the Wordpress > Tools > Site Health [Links visible only for registered users]
    2) Click at the “Info” on the top of the page and open the “Server” tab [Links visible only for registered users]
    3) Take a screenshot of the content inside that ‘Server’ tab [Links visible only for registered users]
Please make sure you are using Wordpress 5.2 or later, previous versions did not have this option built in.

Please use snag.gy or pasteboard.co to host the screenshot and send us the link to it.
    Thanks
  • Hi, I was getting the same error...

Checking Site Health did it for me, I was missing required and optional PHP modules.

    Installed: php-curl, php-gd, php-mbstring, php-xml

    Fixed.
    Thanks
