How do I hide or remove the image lightbox and icon in the blog post grid layout?

Hello,

You can change that effect or disable it completely in the Theme Options > Global > General, in the Image Frame section

Hi,

I have the same issue. I have disabled the hover option and the icons, like you suggest above, but the featured image in my post still opens when it is clicked on. I don't need the image to open again when it is already shown on the page at the same size. Is there a way to either specify a specific link to open when the image is clicked or not make the image a link at all?
