BeTheme Mobile Menu Disappeared

No Mobile Menu

  • WP Version 5.7.2
  • BeTheme Version 22.0.3
  • PHP version 7.3

Web Address

Theme Settings - Responsive

  • Mobile Header: Minimal
  • Menu right | Logo left
  • Menu | Default
  • Style Classic
  • Also Using the Top Bar

I have tried many combinations trying to get our menu to show on mobile. I even tried using the same settings we have for another website also running the BeTheme theme.

I am not the original developer and I am not sure at what point the mobile menu disappeared but we have had a lot of updates this year and suggestions would be welcome.

  • Hello,

Please turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the issue persists.

Moreover, if you are using a child theme, switch to parent, and recheck it.

    Thanks

  • It is a child theme - no caching being used.

    Next?

  • Sorry, but I do not understand.

Did you turn off the plugins and switched the theme to parent?

    What was the result?

About refreshing cache, I meant that you should refresh it on your website. Please, check the following link on how to do it.

    Best regards

  • Sorry I thought I was being very clear:

    • It is not a browser cache issue. Of course, I tried that before I contacted SUPPORT.
    • No sitewide caching is being used so - again that is not the issue.
    • We are already using a child theme - that is not anything we just did.

So none of those can be the issue and as for problem determination, they are not in the mix.

    PLUGINS

Are you saying you think a plugin conflict is responsible?

Are there known plugin conflicts that I should look for?

  • Every plugin that we do not support may cause conflict because we did not test them, and we do not know how they work.

You can check supported plugins under the following link:

Also, did you switch the child theme to the parent to check if the issue persists? If not, please, do that.

    Thanks

  • Phil - Your suggestion was the fix - I did not read your response carefully before I responded - my apologies and thank you. The swap to the parent theme was the fix.

  • No, problem. I am glad that everything is working fine now. ?

If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

    Thanks

  • Thank you for great support, Phil.
