display issues on mobile

Hi,

  1. I have created a single slide for the homepage. On desktop it displays the fonts correctly, but on mobile, it does not display the correct font for the site title. I have chosen to use Comic Sans (not my choice---my client's) for the main title but it is displaying using a different font (it is using a serif font) on my mobile devices (both tablet and phone). When I check using my browser developer tools, it shows that Comic Sans is being used, but it is not displaying the correct font.
  2. I have a WooCommerce store on my site. I only have 2 categories and I am displaying them in 2 columns on the home page. It looks fine on desktop, but on mobile, the section with the photos is too wide and doesn't seem to be adjusting to width of the narrower screen. It seems like they should adjust and display one above the other on the mobile devices. Can you help me figure out how to make that happen?

  • Here is a screen shot showing how the categories display on my mobile devices. (I tried to upload to my original post, but it wouldn't let me).

  • Hi,

Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.

    Thanks

  • I'm sorry...here's the link to my site. Sorry I overlooked that. https://www.forthebirdsunlimited.com/sandbox

  • 1) Can you check if that slide does change font when using other theme, like 2021 or 2022?

I think it's more Revolution Slider issue than BeTheme

    2) You have to decrease the size of the images in woocommerce here are instructions for changing them:

To change the size of the woocommerce images, please go to the WordPress customizer tool and change it in the front-end.

More information in the link below: https://iconicwp.com/blog/manage-woocommerce-product-image-sizes-3-3

    Notice!

Remember to use thumbnail regeneration after you make your changes. Otherwise, the images will not change their size.

    Thanks

  • Thanks for the reply!

I have checked the slider in a different theme and the fonts are changed on mobile regardless of the theme choice. So it must be Revolution Slider. How do I go about getting support from them?

I have tried to follow the instructions for changing the image sizes in the customizer tool, but it only lets me choose whether I want to crop my images into a square or not. There is no place where I can find an option to change the category size for mobile. The image sizes are just fine for desktop...but need to either be changed for mobile or they need to display one above the other -- just like the product images do. If you scroll down to the best selling products section, the images automatically go from being 5 columns across to one column. Why doesn't the category section do that?

    2) Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

  • I am trying to get support from slider revolution using the link you sent, but it looks like you cant' get support from them without purchasing a license. I am using the plugin that came bundled with BeTheme so I don't have a license. Am I missing something?

  • Their Ticket Support is available for people who purchase their license.

You can read more about it under the following link:

    Best regards

  • The categories element had a custom Width set for the desktop display to 1000px. However, as you did not set the width for the mobile view, it inherited the value from the desktop, which is why it was not displaying correctly.

I have set the width to 400px, and now the view seems fine.

    Can you check it, please?

    Thanks

  • Thank you so much! It is working great now. I appreciate the great support.

  • You are welcome.

    Always glad to help.
