Video & Design
Hello!
I'm working on this website and I can't seem to solve a couple issues I have:
1) the video code I have doesn't want to want to work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiWpzqiS3BU&ab_channel=jeikewullms on this page: https://marbaned.nl/jeike-new-design/about-me/
2) There is a gray stripe going through the header and only on this page. I can't seem to get rid of it: https://marbaned.nl/jeike-new-design/portfolio/
3) How do I turn the text of the portfolio items white? https://marbaned.nl/jeike-new-design/portfolio/
Thank you in advance!
Andi

Hi,
1) In the video element, did you put the ID only? If not, please, do that, and the video will work.
2) Can you attach a screenshot showing this stripe, please?
3) Can you please tell me which text you are talking about?
Thanks
Hello!
Thanks for your help with the video. I already solved the text color.
This is the gray stripe I mean in the header. It's caused by the transparent header overlapping with something else:

Please, put the following CSS code in Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS.
Thanks
Thanks! One more question!
How do you smooth the edges of boxes. For instance the info box: https://marbaned.nl/jeike-new-design/portfolio-item/products/
My client wants to make it look like this:
Also I am having some trouble with the new muffinbuilder...
I would like to change the background color of the wrap but I can't find the option.
In the prebuilt website there is something called Deprecated which allows me to change the color of the wrapper. But when I make my own wrapper the option is not there?
1) Please, edit this element, go to Advanced -> Border, and you can set the border radius there.
2) Now the background can be set in the Advanced tab. You can read more about Deprecated under the following article:
https://support.muffingroup.com/faq/what-deprecated-in-the-bebuilder-means/
Thanks
Okay so I thought I was going crazy with the background color (which I want in black) but it seems to work in Chrome. But when I was working in Firefox it stays in white? Do you see this problem?
Also, the background color change only seems to work in Chrome, not firefox. So in Chrome I have black backgrounds and in Firefox they are all white?
Same goes for the border corners: http://marbaned.nl/jeike-new-design/portfolio-item/products/
On your website, I can see that everything is in dark except Footer, and the border-radius is assigned. I am testing with Firefox.
Which part is showing white for you?
Did you try clearing the cache in Firefox? If not, please, do that.
Thanks
In my firefox it is black, but other people (and I have tested with 4 different people now) who have never opened the link before, see a white background in Firefox. Tried on Mac, Windows and Linux but same result:
I have checked that on the Mac with Firefox (the page opened the first time there), and the background is dark as well.
Did you try clearing the cache for the browsers with incorrect display?
Best regards
Yes, I cleaned out the cache of Firefox and even did an update. Some people see black, others a white background (but I've been having this issue many times now with different pages (although the problem seems to have fixed itself on my side).
Like right now I made this new test page and set everything to black: https://marbaned.nl/jeike-new-design/portfolio-item/test/
But I still see white background in all browsers even though it's the first time I've opened it up in Firefox and chrome.....
Sign....now everything is back to white background again in the portfolio image galleries.....and that because I started giving the portfolio items category names. There is some serious bug going on.
Okay, I made a backup of the website and installed in on a different database/provider. It seems like everything is as it is supposed to be now...
In the browser console, I noticed an error about mixed content.
Please, check the following article on how to handle it:
https://support.muffingroup.com/faq/bebuilder-content-different-from-frontend-missing-styles/
After your problem should be gone.
Thanks
Guess what.....That absolutely did the trick! Thank you!
