Issue with Blog Live Filtering after update
Hello,
we updated Betheme to its latest version from version 26.3.1 to 26.5.1.3 and the following Blog filtering in our main (development) home page does not work as expected, i.e. the 3 category names are displayed extremely compact. Browser's inspector displays "categories" class, with "position" attribute's parameter set to "absolute", which is not included in the previous version before the update. Setting it to "Inherit" solves the problematic effect.
Before Update (normal appearance of Blog item):
Inspector at specific "categories" class focus:
After update on the Development site (Problematic appearance of Blog Item):
Inspector at specific "categories" class focus:
Blog Muffin Item main settings follow:
Could you please look into it ASAP as this issue keeps are back from updating the theme on our production website.
Thank you,
Petros Louca

Hi,
I have passed this issue to the dev team.
For now, please, put the following CSS code in Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS, as a temporary workaround.
Best regards
Hello and thank you for your prompt response.
I have added the code to the Custom CSS of the main web page in order to work as it did not have any effect when placed in Theme Options --> Custom CSS
Also, the selected Blog's tab is not highlighted (with the predefined orange background color), something that functions normally in the previous Betheme version.

Please attach a link to your website so I can take a closer look at it.
Thanks
Can this be done privately?
Thank you.

Hello Phil,
further to our previous communication, we schedule to update the theme to its latest version, keeping WordPress in its current version and if the specific functionality is still normal,. we will then proceed updating the rest of the (non-updated) plugins one by one to isolate the issue, keeping you posted about the outcome.
Your comments are welcome on this process.
Regards,
Petros
As soon as you have done these steps please let me know.
If the problem will not be gone, please, send login credentials, as I mentioned in my previous message.
Thanks
I received your credentials, checked your website, and everything seems to be fine.
Can you tell me what page should I look at, please?
And the problem is with the Blog element, right? I noticed one on your home page, but it works correctly.
Best regards
Please press on each of the category tab, you will see that the chosen one is not highlighted.
The problem with the tab's length mentioned was fixed in one of your recent update release.
Thank you,
Petros
Ok, I found it.

As soon as we find the root cause I will let you know.
Best regards
Thank you, please keep me posted about the issue. If you need future access to our development website, let me know.

Petros
