I am trying to assign a css class to an image and i have gone to the advanced tab custom and than added the class that i want so i could add the css in theme options but the class is not getting assigned and it stays scale-with-grid, so how do i do it ?

Such a display will be much easier to achieve with the Slider Revolution.
You can even download and customize Slider from the Marketing2 demo, which has this effect.

Do you mean the SVG you uploaded? If yes, there is no setting to do that.

I have disabled maintenance mode
also i am using this css to change svg color on hover but it isn't working as it should

since svg is not working i have found a work around using font awesome icons, there a lot of icons in font awesome but only a few are in the theme so i have added font awesome plugin and added a few icons they worked for the first few minutes then they became crossed squares and didn't work again

not all font awesome icons are available with iconmoon, so i want directly use font awesome 4 (through there plugin) and as i said it was working for a while but then it stopped
please check the site using the login credentials privately since i enabled maintenance mode because the site is being viewed while its still under dev

I have added a new page to your website, the "BeSupport test page," and added a couple of free icons that are working correctly.
I also passed the info to the dev team to update the Font Awesome icon pack included in our theme.
