Pre-Built Website - Not able to edit the header

Dear support team,

I am running into a problem where I cannot edit the header of a freshly installed Pre-built website (Mechanic7). I just reinstalled WordPress to make sure there weren't any issues with it.

When I click on the 'pen tool' as shown in the screenshot, It triggers the following message:

'Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.'

It is very annoying that I am not able to edit the header as I was basically ready to launch this website for one of my clients.

Looking forward to your response,

Thank you

I've just filled in the form.

  • Hi there

I have the same issue, with Car Wash 3. Was this easily resolvable ?

    Thanks

This actually only fixes a broken link that sends you to the BeTheme Dashboard - Theme Options - Header & Subheader.

In this case they fixed the broken link and they will also update it for everyone during the next small update. But I was actually looking to change the content in the header (Opening hours and Call Us).

  • I think i've found where to edit the content ;

From WordPress Admin -> Templates (just under Betheme on mine). Create a new Header there.

It seems the default one can't be edited. At least that's what I'm finding.

I created a new header and then changed that in the Betheme editor. In my case, i wanted it empty so called it "Clear".

    YMMV.

  • It will be fixed in the upcoming update, the link that should lead to Theme options has a typo.

Anyway, you can modify your header in the Theme options.
