Issue with new Version of Website

Hello there!

I’m experiencing a problem with my website after duplicating it to create a new version in Polish. Initially, everything was working well — I uploaded all the translations, and the site was functioning as expected.

However, today while making some simple changes (like adjusting the menu), the Polish version of the site suddenly stopped working correctly. Here are the main issues I’m facing:

Revolution Sliders are no longer showing on the Polish version. The menu is not working properly. I can’t edit content in BeBuilder — it gets stuck and sends me always to the top of the page. These problems only occur on the Polish version of the site. English version (which is the original one) continues to work perfectly fine with no issues.

I didn’t make any major changes apart from some basic edits in the menu and layout. Could you please help me figure out what went wrong and how to fix it? I am sending you a video, so you can see what I am refering to.

Thanks in advance for your support!

Best regards,

  • Hello,

Please, turn off all of the plugins except WPML, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

Moreover, if you use a child theme, switch to the parent, and recheck it.

    Thanks

  • Hello, I realized these issues start happening the moment I create a new menu in Polish and assign it to the footer (or even try to use it anywhere). If I keep using the original English menu instead, everything works just fine — no builder issues, no slider problems.

So it seems like creating or assigning a menu in Polish is somehow breaking things on that version of the site. This only affects the Polish version; the English one continues to work perfectly (I guess because I didn't change the menu there).

Do you know what could be causing this or how I can fix it? I’d really appreciate your help.

    Thanks in advance!

The problem happens on the Vincobiosis Acneic PL site, specifically when I edit the footer template (polish version). In the bottom right corner of the footer, there’s a menu element — when I change it to use the Polish menu called "LEGAL POL", that’s when everything breaks.

As soon as I assign that menu, the Revolution Sliders disappear, the menu doesn’t function properly, and the BeBuilder stops working entirely on the Polish version.

If I leave the original English menu there instead, everything works normally.

I’m attaching a screenshot to show exactly where I’m making the change. Hope this helps pinpoint the issue — let me know if you need access or any more details.

    Thanks again!

  • While we tried to enter the home page with BeBuilder, it did not load, and the browser console showed the following error:

It means that your multisite URLs are misconfigured, and could be causing the problem you opened this topic for.

Please correct that URL, and check if the problem persists.

    Thanks

Hello, I have noticed you were doing some changes (see screenshot with the autosaved history and without the menu I want to change in the footer) on the website and now the site is not working (same issues I mentioned before), I guess because you have deleted the menu, etc... Just want to know if you left it like that for any reason?

I really have no idea what is the problem you mentioned above. Do you mind to tell me how can I solve it?

Important update: I already solved the problem you mentioned above and the issue still persists. Could you please have a look and see where could be the root of the issue causing this conflict in my website?

  • 1) Indeed we were doing tests to check if it is related to the menu, and it does not seems to as it breaks even when the menu is not present.

    2) For the regular WP URL settings are here:

As you might see on the previous screenshot I sent, instead of loading HTTPS, it loads HTTP causing mixed content error.

But it is misconfigured in your multisite settings as you use SSL, but address is set to HTTP:

Please correct that, and check if the problem persists.

  • Hello, yes it was corrected before your response, as mentioned in my last comment.

    The problem still persists.

  • Thanks for letting us know. We will continue inspecting that.

  • Hello!

Do you have an update on this? I need to finish this site as soon as possible and it is still not working.

Please let me know if there is something I need to do from my side.

    Regards,

  • During the weekend, we had no chance to take a look at this.

Anyway, we are still investigating what could be the reason.

    Best regards

  • Please check it out now. After switching to another theme and back, it seems to work properly.

From what we checked, it is not related to Betheme, but that is because of the WPML and multisite addresses, which seem to be lost sometimes.

It this or something familiar happens again, I suggest contacting the WPML support.

  • Hello, are you still working on this? Because I am checking and there are biggest changes on my website. The home in my polish version has almost all the content in ENGLISH and en ENGLISH there is content in Spanish. Please let me know if you are working on something there.

    Home Polish version:

    Home english version:

These are details super importants for the website.

    Thanks,

    Regards!

  • No, since my yesterday's message we have not done anything on your website.

Did you try contacting WPML support regarding this?

    Best regards
