left side menu
Hi I want to build my old website in betheme and I need some help

And now I try to make the left menu but now the menu has a shadow I have no idea how to remove.
I also want to get the menu left aligned but with some margin so it doesn't just go all the way to the side

If you want to have a high control on the menu layout, you can use the sidebar menu template.

that video only show how to make a sidebar not how to get it to work on you site?
So how do you do that?
Mine just show the standard one you find in subheader/header called creative open... so I need a guide on how to get that new sidebar to work on the website...as that is not shown in the video unless you have a burger menu in a top header.
I was thinking a sidebar that is always visible

Wow that was a strange way to communicate.
I've watched it many times... but maybe you didn't read my question properly!
It only shows how to get it to work with a burger menu... and if you read my question again I specifically said I don't want that.
I don't need just a quick answer with a link but a god answer on how to get a permanent sidebar on the left side to work. I've tried so many thing now and get pretty frustrated even chat gtp keep giving me wrong answer to this over and over.
Why is there no step by step guide for this at your website ...
there is a reason why I ask this over and over again.. so plz just give me a step by step guide instead of me sitting and waiting and spending days on this

In the video, Albert explains that you do not have to trigger the sidebar menu with the menu burger element. It is exactly in the timestamp I sent you.
So when you create the vertical header as you need, go to the template settings, and set the visibility to Always visible, and additionally, you can hide the default header:

You cannot register because you do not have a domain name, but an IP address. Betheme must be registered on an existing domain name.

I completely understand your confusion regarding this setting. This option is designed to work exclusively with Header Templates. Since you are currently using a predefined header style from the Theme Options instead of a custom-built template, the setting does not apply.
