Yoast Issues
Hi,
Because BeTheme integrated Yoast, we purchased it again. We used it before the integration, but stopped; it wasn't worth the hassle.
It seems as if compatibility still is an issue - ie, links and text aren't recognized, and our visitor numbers dropped. We're not sure if the drop in visitors is due to Yoast, but we'd rather not risk it.
Did you notice any problems with the Yoast integration on your end?
Yoast support isn't very helpful - they suggest using an out-of-date "health check" plugin.
We're hoping you can help; if not, we'll cancel our Yoast subscription.
Thanks

Hi,
No, we did not notice any problems with YOAST integration.
Please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and specify where and which problems you see, so we can take a closer look at them.

Before we share login information, we did not clear out the BeTheme SEO. It exists next to Yoast. Is that a problem?
And we did not move the content of the BeBuilder to the WordPress editor like we had to previously.
Does any of the above raise a red flag?
You must ensure that Use-built-in fields are disabled in Betheme -> Theme options -> SEO:
Regarding the Builder -> SEO option, with the new integration, you do not have to use it as now YOAST reads BeBuilder content directly from our builder.
Best regards
OK. Thanks.
I didn't realize Yoast can "read" the BeBuilder. For one, it does not seems to read internal and outbound links.
Something else, what about the advanced setting under SEO? The "schema type?" It's still enabled.
You can leave it enabled. It does not have an influence on the YOAST integration.
Best regards
These are all outbound links - YOAST does not register or recognize them.
Please send access to your website, so we can take a closer look at this.
Thanks
Sent.
Examples of a page and post that contain links:
Outbound links are visible correctly by YOAST.
Anyway, I noticed something on the second page. In the HTML element you put an entire page structure, which is completely wrong:
Since Betheme already generates these tags for the whole website, adding them again inside a builder element causes 'duplicate tag' errors. This can lead to display issues and negatively impact SEO. You should remove lines 1 through 7 and only keep the actual content (starting from the
<p>tags). Remember also to remove closing tags.Best regards
Thanks.
I went by Yoast on the page, not in the builder. I’ll use Yoast in the builder from now on.
And I’ll remove the tags you mentioned. EndNote exports html references with tags, I simply copied and pasted.
Thanks
