Filter not working

  Hi.

  Did you assign a blog page in Settings -> Reading?

  

  If not, please do that, as it is required for the filters feature to work properly.

  Perfect many thanks. So, can I only have one archive/blog page then? As I want to have a similar page for Jobs, Training and Education post categories

  For this, you should create blog categories, and you can create a separate template for each of them.

  thanks for this. ok so I have created a template and (in the first screenshot) you can see it has the active category and the 3 sub categories under it.

  I then have saved it to only apply to the "jobs" category (2nd screenshot)

  But then on the archive page itself the filters are not showing at all... Im doing something wrong but can't figure out what.

  So in the example above ‘Jobs’ is the main category and the other ones are sub category. But if Jobs is selected it shows all posts. I’d like it that the main category was not in the filter list

  At the moment, there is no option for that.

  But we have plans to add include/exclude for taxonomies in Filters.
