Error message on Widgets

I there, I am having a problem when trying to update my widgets. I get an error message of 'The response is not a valid JSON response'. I have tried all the recommended options and contacted Ionos who are hosting the site, but they cannot see what the problem is and suggested I reach out to you. On the Ionos tab in the site it shows a warning for Betheme, but it doesn't say why. I have used Betheme many many times and never had this issue. Please could you help as my client wants the site live. Thank you

    If none of them help, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to allow all the rules that ModSecurity blocks incorrectly.

    I have tried the tips and it didn't work. I have checked with Ionos and they have said that all the rules that ModSecurity blocks are all open. There is clearly a compatibility issue with the theme and the php. Could you please advise urgently as I desperately need to get this site live. Many thanks in advance.
