Create category pages

I have the shop page with all the links to the categories like this: https://myweb.com/categoria-producto/name-of-each-category,

but the pages to which these links are pointing are empty, only footer and header are shown. How and where do I edit or create these product category pages? Should I change permanent links structure?

Thank you!

  • Hi,

Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.

It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot showing your issue.

Also, do your categories have products assigned to them?

    Thanks

Hi, thank you for your reply.

Yes, there are products for each category. The web is aequorspa.com and the link about which I was talking is from: [Links visible only for registered users] to [Links visible only for registered users]

  • I created an admin account for you to use if neccesary, I don't know how can I give you the details

  • I am sorry, but I quite do not get what your problem is exactly.

Could you explain that in more detail, and tell me the steps I should take to notice it, please?

    Thanks

  • Ok, I sttach two screenshots. When I am in the Shop page (in this cas4e aequorspa.com/catalogo/), and from this page I click on any category link, there is no content in the category pages (in this case aequorspa.com/categoria-producto/slugoftheproduct) So these pages exist, but only show footer and header, and I don't know how to edit its content.

  • I know I can make a template for each product category, but that I'm wanting to create is a unique template which fits for any product category, if possible. Because when I make my product category template and include the "Shop products" element in Be Builder, it requires to choose the category or categories I want to display for THIS template.

  • In such case, if you want to have same looking page for categories, you need to create template for category and apply it for ALL categories. This way, you will get same looking category page for all categories.
