if Muffin Options are empty after installation or does not save as should, it means your server is limited. In this case we recommend to deactivate all plugins first and after that click “Save changes” button under empty Muffin Options panel. Hi I went ahead and deactivated all plugins and the betheme options started working again. I went ahead and reactivate them and it stop working. So I started deactivated them one by one and I noticed that once I deactivated the Visual Composer plugin the options started working fine with the other plugin on. Also here is screen shot of my System Status it looks like my limits are fine as far as i know correct me if I'm wrong...
Yes, looks like system status looks fine but from what you wrote, Visual Composer is definitely using the whole memory and doesn't leave anything for theme. We suggest to increase PHP POST MAX Size for a while and then WP Memory limit for tests and check which one is the reason because one of them is for sure.
