Since update, all settings have been stripped and edits to correct them don't save

Hi,

I am using Child Theme 1.5 and have updated to 14.1. Since the update, all of my fonts have changed and the site is no longer responsive. I have tried many times to change the settings, but it always reverts back to the 'original' settings (Arial fonts, custom colors won't save, responsive turned off, etc.)

The site is [Links visible only for registered users]

Can you please let me know what the fix is for this problem.

Hi,

looks like you disabled responsive under Theme options > Responsive section.

That's the problem. I try to change the settings, hit save, and it doesn't keep the setting. It reverts back. It's the same for all items: fonts, colours, any other settings I've tried to change.

If you are unable to save settings, please let us know what php version you have and what's your memory. If you don't know, you can check it under Appearance > System Status section.

Ok, so all is clear now. Wordpress, since version 4.5, requires minimum PHP 5.6. It means your current PHP version is older than 5.6 and doesn’t support necessary Wordpress functions. We recommend you to contact with your admin/hosting provider because your PHP version requires update.
