"How it works"-Item: How do I get the uploaded image to fill the curcular shape of this item?

I am looking to implement the "how it works" item into my webpage. Unfortunatelly I am struggling with the proper use of the uploaded image.
I have tried this with iages of various shapes: circular, square and rectangular. But all that the item does with the uploaded image is to fit it completely into the circle, so that I have white segments in the circular shape of this item on all four sides of the image.

Do I need to prepare the image somehow or is the just a checkbox I am missing out on?

Ok, thanks. The problem is that you are using huge images for this item and it wasn't made for such large images. However, we have css trick to make them work:

.how_it_works .image{
    overflow: hidden;
}
.how_it_works .image img {
    max-height: 200px !important;
    max-width: 200px !important;
}
