Unable to make default fonts support some Turkish characters like ş and ğ on Safari for Mac

Hello,

I am designing a website where I am actually quite satisfied with the default fonts (from default demo); however, these fonts appear to fail supporting some turkish characters such as ş and ğ on Safari for Mac

1. Even though I have input latin, latin-ext to the Google Font Subset section (http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/9873/tuerkce-karakterler-turkish-fonts), and

2. Tried to add html codes inside Google Font Subset area, individual php files, and via some plugins,

they all failed to solve the problem.

Since I could not make the fonts supporting these Turkish characters, I have decided to change the fonts just to see how it would look, yet that did not work as well. At the moment, every attempt I make to change any sort of font results with failure.

The only solution that might actually work seems to activate the 'static css' option which I do not want to do at all since I am still working on the website and will be working on it.

And let me make this clear as well. I only encounter with this problem on 'Safari for Mac' (Idk if IE might have the same problem). Turkish characters look completely fine for Chrome for Mac and safari for iOS. Can you suggest a way out of this, if possible by not changing this beautiful combination.

please send us link to page where these turkish characters does not display well so we can have a look on it and check what might be the reason of such behave.

Ok, thanks. Do you have possibility to check on different device? Because we checked on several different macs with Safari and as you can see http://pasteboard.co/ttVj4LWwP.png the font is fine. It looks exactly the same in every possible browser.

Sorry but we didn't noticed anything like this on our end and we did checked on 6 different computers with Safari and we can not re-create it on our end.

There is obviously something wrong and not only for Safari but also IE and maybe other browsers. Whatever I do, it is not getting fixed.

Might there be a chance that your macs have all the google fonts installed on your harddrives so that you see them without substituting ş,ğ and İs with other supporting fonts? Because not only I have other people confirming this problem, I was also able to send you two SSes on two different browsers from two different OSes.

We have many different macs. New and older Pro's, Air and even basic and on each the font looks the same. So that's very weird. Please disable all plugins you have installed and make sure you set the subset exactly the same way as we explained it in the following topic http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/7/how-to-use-fonts-with-special-characters-like-cyrilic-or-polish/p1

Thank you gorgeous person! Apparently it was due to a font plug-in, disabling the font options. I deeply appreciate the support and want to let you know that this theme is amazing.
