Adding commas in large counter numbers

Hi,

Please see the counters here [Links visible only for registered users]. People have told us that the number 1800000 is hard to read and understand as '1.8 million', and suggested we add commas so that it's displayed as 1,800,000. How can we do this?

I should probably have clarified that I'm actually using the 'Counter' item within Muffin Builder, so how can I add these commas using that?

Yes, you can read there that when using the shortcode you must use the attributes like postfix, prefix. When using the builder item just add % or $ before or after you type the number.

I'm afraid I don't understand at all what I need to do in order to make the number show as 1,800,000 instead of 1800000. I am not able to see what you mean by adding % or $ before or after the number. Which one should I use, and should it go before or after in this precise instance?

You cannot add comas, only 18mln

Ah, ok.

It's actually 1.8 million. If I made it that, how would the number appear to rise from zero? 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 etc to 1.8?

Hi, it will not count from 0 to 1.8, and the problem is when you even type 1.8 it will round it to 2.

So this is not doable, the only way is to stay with 1800000

Please consider replacing your jQuery counter code with the following:

I have this working nicely with commas. Many of the numbers used will be of a higher value mainly a high monetary value. If you wanted to display the sales of Betheme on your website as a counter I'm sure you would want the comma in there.
