What's the deal with my not being able to upload media from my computer to the media library?

Okay - problem I have never had in BeTheme ... I cannot upload images to the media files without taking 3 steps first and preloading the images. When I click Add New, nothing happens. If I go to Add New Library, it defaults to multi-file uploader and says I can toggle to built-in file uploader (only way I can upload at all) but I cannot get it to default and it is a real pain in the rear because I cannot upload directly to the Rev Slider! What is the deal? I have looked through all the settings and do not see what is causing it. I have run BeTheme on 5 or 6 sites and never had this problem.

  • Hi,
Maybe it is the server fault.
please go to your FTP server, create php file with phpinfo() function inside and send us link to that file so we can have a look on your server settings. The problem is probably related to limits but to be sure which one is the reason, we need that link. For more details about file creation, please visit [Links visible only for registered users]

    Thanks!
  • I have been on the phone with Bluehost twice for more than an hour and they say they have updated the server and they can upload images (up to 256MB) but I still cannot upload pictures from my computer. When I click Media, Add New, it brings up the window for me to upload from my computer, but when I click Select Files, it just blinks.
I CAN pre-load images when I go to Library New but it takes three steps and I cannot do so directly into the Rev Slider.
Bluehost said it may be a Chrome issue so I cleared the cache and I also went to another Betheme site I launched last week to see if I could still upload images directly to that site and all is well.
Here is the phpinfo file they created for me because doing so is well above my understanding and capabilities. They say this is what you are requesting I send to you: [Links visible only for registered users]
    PLEASE Help!
  • Hi,
This could be the upload_max_size. See more under this link: [Links visible only for registered users]
The max_input_vars is also low. Let them increase it.
Lets us know if it helped.
