Revolution slider crash after update

I just updated to Wordpress 4.3 and BeTheme 9.4 and I am having the same problems on both my live sites:

1- Revolution Slider plugin, although installed version 5.0.5, cannot be activated due to a Fatal Error on file functions.class.php line 14

2- BeTheme options menu cannot be used because, even if I click on any option on the left menu bar, nothing happens on screen.

I have asked my hosting provider to incrase memory limit to 256MB of php, reinstalled wordpress 4.3, deactivated all plugins and activated one by one...

nothing has worked for me. Can you help me fix this? It is urgent as both my sites are live.

Hi,

1. As we see, on both sides Revolution Slider does not exist at all. It's not installed or activated because there is no files related with slider.

2. Please deactivate all plugins and click "Save changes" button to refresh Muffin Options panel. But if this won't help, then please check the topics below where we explained what may be the reason of blank Muffin Options panel.

Hello,

1. It is not activated because, once installed and activated, the following comes to screen, making impossible to access even the dashboard of wordpress:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'fetch - <b>Table 'dynatech_wp15.wp_revslider_css' doesn't exist

The plugin is installed, checked it via ftp.

Did you uploaded rev slider files via FTP as well? It's very important because if you have limits on server side, then files may be corrupted during regular dashboard installation. However, if this won't help, then we recommend to re-install WP, theme and plugins via FTP because the error you have is related with non-existing table in database. This looks like something wrong happened with your database.

Could you please explain me the steps I should take in order NOT to lose any content from the existing website and reinstall WP and BeTheme?

Please take a look at http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/13/how-update-to-the-new-version-of-be-theme where we explained how to update theme. You won't lose any settings and content because everything is stored in database.
