Hi, this is WPML menu. You probably activated this language menu under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Extras section.

If you want to add additional menu instead of social icons in the right top corner, then you should create new menu and set it up instead of social icons under Appearance > Menus > Manage locations section.

Hi, it's because you did not set sidebar for home page. You can do this under Page options section while creating/editing pages.

@rigaleb Muffin Builder tool is available under Page options section while you create/edit pages. If it does not exist, you may deactivated it under Theme options > Global > Advanced section.
