Hi, for site migration, we always use 2 plugins and did never had any problems with content or settings migration. Those plugins are: WP Migrate DB and Mfn CB Migration Tool. So please use those plugins as well and everything should be ok. Thanks!

This is a technical problem between being responsive and css backgrounds and nobody won't be able to help you. You can check any other site in the web with css backgrounds and you will see that none of them are responsive because simply can't be.
