This is header's background and to disable it, you need to select Minimalist option under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section.

Hey, yes, you can define different header backgrounds per specific pages. To do this, you need to use Featured Image option on the right hand side when you edit/create pages.

Thanks. We did checked and we do not have any css solution to remove site background from error 404 pages only.

Ok, thanks. So we checked this closer and looks like the css you mentioned above is the reason and it should be removed from Theme options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section.
