Hi, this is how cover for backgrounds works. Cover background size attribute is necessary to extend the background on larger screens but it cut the top and bottom. However we do not have any solution to avoid this behave. Thanks for understanding!

You need to install 20 or 30 Wordpress's then under sub-domain or sub-folder and individually import the demo for each one the way as it was explained on instructional video. Each demo is like an individual site with own Wordpress installation.

Hey, this is header's background and yes, it is possible to have different backgrounds per different pages. To do this, you need to use Featured Image option which is on the right hand side when you edit/create page.
