Menu like the rest of the content is inside Wrapper which has fixed width and that's why it moves on bigger screens. This is absolutely correct behavior.

No, you will not lose data because all settings/content/options are stored in database. However, we always recommend to do backup just in case as you never knows what wrong may happen.

Not for us but also for thousands of users is takes about 2-3 seconds to load. Of course loading time depends on how large the page is.
