Hi, to use portfolio links for external pages, you need to set project link under each portfolio item and then, under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Portfolio section, change Project Link option.

Hi, please disable all extra plugins because one of them might be the reason of this behave. But if this won't help, please try to open it in different browser or computer because maybe you increase screen size to much and that's why it's so narrow.
