So to set full-screen sections with the arrows, you can do this inside SECTION. There are options responsible for both (arrows and full-screen).

You need to replace existing image ID with own.

Above css supposed to be put in place where all css's are - Theme options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section. But about the column background, you can select it under column settings.

http://pasteboard.co/ez3a1OJYy.png - this is how transparency for the Top Bar works. You can not set this transparency other way. It is the proper behave that logo and menu would be more visible as well because it's how it works.
