Hi, yes, you can mix both but we suggest to use Muffin Builder which is much easier in use, lighter and much faster than VC. And you won't have so many issues with it as with VC.

Hi, you can not use icons for lists. The "checkbox" you saw on our demo are images, not icons so if you want to change them, you need to replace current image on FTP with your own. Or you can replace current image with the new one.
