Hi, it's favicon and if you want to remove it completely, just upload for example empty image or empty 1px under Theme options > Global > General section where favicon field is.

What you ask for requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact with your web developer.

Ok, you're right. There is only one option what means it is not possible to set different value for mobile and tablet and there is nothing else what we may suggest in this matter.
