I could not solve the problem. when i go to system status i see thatPHP Max Input Vars = 10000 what else can i do?

i have only tried it on the chrome browser. but you are right, it works fine on safari. i have not yet tried the others...

i have tried it with transparent *.gif and transparent *.png logo. both did not work, on the website the logo has a white background
