Ok, I got a maps javascript api key from google and saved it to the Google Maps API Key field, but still no luck. It's still not loading.

There is a plugin conflicting with the theme. https://wp-types.com/home/layouts/ This was the culprit for causing the narrow column content. It's a pretty popular plugin, so maybe look into the conflict.
