• I believe the answer is Yes.  I was able create custom layout with a transparent header that I applied only to my homepage.  Thanks.

• I think the problem was the fact that i was using a color for the Theme skin instead of using "custom skin"

• This has been super frustrating so I had to reset the default theme options.  When I did that I was able to change the menu header color. Theme options > Colors > Headers > Top Bar Left Background Hope that helps you eduardocs.
