Thanks a lot for the support, this fixed the problem! Apparently having the same url as the current domain in the popup shortcode creates an iframe which instantiates a recursive loop which led to all of the problems. Kind regards

Just created a blank new page with Elementor turned off and it's the same problem on desktop and on all iPhone 13 versions (using Browserstack for this). Hope this helps and thanks in advance. Best regards, Kevin
