You can change the settings in betheme options>responsive>header and scroll down to menu.The colors can be edited in betheme options>colors>menu in menu button section

go to Betheme options>footer>general there under the layout section open the style list and select the last option.

I have an issue with saving the widgets I create.  When I create the widget and Save it all works fine in the beginning, but once I go back to my widget menu again, I don't see anything of what I have

Please remove this menu from the widgets and then go to Apperance>menus then select the manage locations tab and under social menu bottom select your menu.
