we did checked your site and sub-menu items works fine on touch screens. We didn't noticed anything wrong.

you got maintenance mode active so we do not see your site. But to get centered menu, you need to set Stack: Center header type under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header

In reference to 2nd question, we do not have an item to open image as popup.
