The Mega Menu is not a submenu like a regular submenu menu item but a template, so it is a separate part not included in the regular menu.

In Appearance -> Menus, open the Screen Options, and activate the Product categories there.

I don't understand how to create a separate menu for a sidebar. I want the mega menu to appear in the sidebar, which is a submenu of the main menu.
