This error is happenning again. We have tried disabling all plugins,etc. All themes and plugins have been updated to latest versions. 

Well, the CSS code I sent you before was not correct at all.But, I removed it and then disabled the dropdown languages menu in the Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Extras

Should have thought of that! It was a plugin called Mobile Menu causing the issue.

Sorry but the selector in the Action bar was the "right" one, not that in the menu: (even if the selector in Action Bar has not the arrow to select the language!)

Please open your website in Firefox html mode (CTRL+U) and check html errors you got. Please fix them first and all should be fine.

Yes, you have to create another menu (Appearance > Menus), and assign it as a "Social Menu Top", but actual content of the Action Bar will be overwritten by that menu.

I have removed the menu language selector form WPML plugin options but is still present in the menu.I cleared the cache from WPML. If I change theme the language selector disappear.
