Cannot update bundled plugins - " Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page."

Since version 20.9.8.1 or so I am not able to update the bundled plugins. We use WP multisite and clicking on  "pre-built websites" or "bundled plugins" in dashboard we get "Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page."

  • Hi,
Please go to Theme Options > Global > Advanced and scroll down to "Theme Functions" section
Check, if "BeTheme pre-built websites" is not ticked on.
Also, please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache of the browser and check if the issue still exists.
    Thanks
  • we've tried all that and the absolute point is that we did all on local server with a backup and got the same results. This might be my final buy of betheme since I realized I can get actual support instead of "disable all plugins, clear cache, change browser..." I run a small webdev agency and your theme update costs are becoming unsustainable.

I might be alone here or there might be others, I don't know.  I just know that I had a perfectly running site and then it was not. Same fricking config since client site launch, the only update that was due then was betheme - that was done...

After that we could not update included plugins ... ok .. might be a temp issue...it happened before several times and it was fixed...not fixed though...still not fixed...and now we are screwed...

At this point I paid for extra hours so much that I am bleeding money

I am a small developer and I am using betheme in 20+ projects that are paid by customers on my recommendation because I trusted your work.

Now you are just taking money off my business...

I have heard all the excuses  and since I am in the same business more or less I know how hard is to deal with customer support. So I had been patient.

Just for your investigation my costs are 7 multisite customers*/8euro/-per issue. Who will pay for this? I realize my support it's done atm  but I will buy the theme tomorrow and just build another site with the same issue then I will sue you - who's gonna win? -- It might be you but you will lose all your costomers meanwhile  - and this is my point - why are you not supporting your customers?

It's gonna be cheaper for me to sue than to deal with my client issues - I could do this and more, but I still hope you can do this right and fix this for good...

  • This is standard procedure of our support.
We have to check every(even the simplest) way to fix this problem.
This one could be the plugin problem (because it's the usual issue), especially if the Gutenberg update arrived.
One of your plugins(third-party) could not be updated to work with this update, that's why I asked you to disable them too.

Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact
form which is on the right side at
http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what
    might be the reason.
