Header background color different than the main menu?

I'm trying to figure out how to make my menu color different from the header.  I have it so my logo is in the center and is large, but it's the same color background as the menu background, so it looks awkward.  I would like to make them two separate colors, or possibly add a gradient effect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I have attached photos as a reference. Photo one is how it currently is, photos two and three are how I would like them to look.  Thanks again!

Hi,

With our basic header this effect will not be available.

The most similar will be almost the same, but with the menu above (below the action bar)

But, you can try to achieve it with our Muffin Header Builder.
